Amy's Ice Cream Truck
I created an identity system and collateral for a imaginary company. This package includes an identity mark, social media, website mock-up, environmental graphics, and promotional pieces.
Amy’s Ice Cream Truck is a fictitious company that serves unusual and bold ice cream flavors in Des Moines, IA. After extensive research, I decided I wanted Amy’s identity to be playful and bold. I first created the interactive pattern by using geometric shapes and inserted several ice cream cones into the pattern to emphasize what the truck serves.
I entered this Amy's Ice Cream Truck project into two student award competitions. I submitted it to the American Advertising Awards in Des Moines. I won two Gold Awards including Student Art Direction (Campaign) and Student Integrated Brand Identity Campaign (Campaign). This project advanced the District 9 American Advertising Awards and won Silver Awards in both categories. These projects will now advance to the National AAA Competition in early June 2019.
I also submitted this project to the student competition for the Art Directors Association of Iowa. The judging for Amy's Ice Cream Truck will take place in late March 2019.
