Makers Market by Maker’s Mark

Experiential Event

About

To kick-off the 2019 New York City Wine & Food Festival weekend, Maker’s Mark wanted to show up in a big way. So, we took over the lower east side venue of Essex Market, to create our second installment of “Maker’s Market.” Promising unlimited bites from seventeen food vendors, cocktails designed by popular local bartenders, and a chance to meet the Maker’s Mark Heritage Team with a special tasting of our “wood finishing series” bourbons.

Upon entry, guests were reminded that their attendance was for a good cause, as ticket sales went to sustainability-minded partner United By Blue to support the removal of trash from America’s waterways.

I was responsible for all the digital and printed collateral. I leveraged Maker’s Mark assets and created new ones to match the ‘Old New York’ feel with hand-painted illustrations.

Impact

307 attendees, poured 810 cocktails, served up 230 tastings, and built lasting affinity with our target.

6,262,378 total impressions from earned media coverage and reaching over 1,938,000 social media followers through influencer support.
